Focus on Cleaning Results
Our operating philosophy has always been that a great cleaning service ought to sell itself. That’s why we focus our efforts behind the scenes on creating the best cleaning experience for our clients, rather than focusing on creating the loudest marketing campaigns. This may seem obvious, but surprisingly, the “how we clean” part of the cleaning business is often skimmed over by ownership in favor of aggressive marketing strategies.
Our focus is on the details of how we clean homes, continuously tweaking and improving our process, tools and equipment, and how we train people in that process. We keep pushing the envelope on quality of service to ensure we achieve consistently sparkling results. We continuously experiment with new training methods and review our entire training process annually, from start to finish, constantly looking for ways to update and improve outcomes in your home.
Great Cleaning Results Drive Referrals
When you are creating a consistently excellent experience for your customers, they tell their friends and neighbors, who then also end up becoming customers. We rely heavily on this word-of-mouth, “organic” marketing to grow. This won’t happen unless we are producing great results.
Referrals = Less Advertising = Better Employee Pay
Because our referrals are so strong, we can drastically reduce our spend on advertising, to a fraction of what our competition spends. It’s not that we don’t advertise at all, we are just really selective about how and when we do so.
We then take the money we save on advertising and invest it back into higher wages and better benefits for our staff. This both attracts and retains great people, and is an important part of how we can deliver consistent staffing to your home week in and week out. Of course, pay isn’t everything – we also have to provide a consistent schedule, treat people well and provide opportunities for advancement – but those topics are for another post!
Recent Referral Contest
A little over a month ago, we kicked off a contest among our staff – who could earn the most referrals from their clients?
We’re excited to report that the referrals keep coming in as do the thank you credits to clients and bonuses to staff. Louie and Brooke P are the two contest winners. Way to go! And THANK YOU!
Know someone who would love our green home cleaning service? Send them our way! You’ll each get a $50 thank-you credit AND your cleaning staff will get a bonus! Direct them to our online estimate form and ask them to drop your name in the “referred by” field.

The snow has finally melted and the days are getting longer, many of us feel that familiar urge—it’s spring cleaning time! After months of hibernation, our homes are ready for a fresh start. But let’s face it: between work, errands, and keeping up with everyday life, who has the time (or energy) to tackle a deep seasonal clean?
